George T. Miars, Jr. is an associate with the law firm of Willson Jones Carter & Baxley, P.A. in Charleston, South Carolina.  He received his B.S. degree from Davidson College in 2001 and his J.D. degree from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 2005 where he served as Research Editor of the South Carolina Law Review. Mr. Miars was admitted to the South Carolina Bar in 2005 and is a member of the South Carolina Bar Association and the South Carolina Workers’ Compensation Educational Association. Mr. Miars practices exclusively in the area of workers’ compensation defense.
